Who is the best Football club in the World?

November 30th 2010 12:13

After their domination of Real Madrid on Monday is Barcelona #1 in the World. Is Borussia Dortmund the top team after the keep dominating the Bundelsiga League.

The Champions League is designed to find the best team in Europe and most of the time this is true but some times the best team doesn't win the Champions League hell the might not even play in it.

Reviewing the top five leagues in Europe to me here is my list of top ten teams in Europe right now.

1. Barcelona

2. Manchester United

3. Real Madrid

4. Cheslea

5. Arsenal

6. Borussia Dortmund

7. AC MIlan

8. Manchester City

9. Villareal

10.Marseille

Easily the Premier League and La Liga are the best two leagues in Europe.

I agree with your assessment on Barca being the best team. Beating Real 5-0 is incredible and easily puts them at the top spot far ahead of everyone else. The La Liga and EPL are easily the best leagues, so I agree with you there. My top ten is as follows:

1. Barca
2. Chelsea
3. Man Utd
4. Real
5. Bayern
6. Inter
7. AC
8. Dortmund
9. Arsenal
10. Marseille

I think you've probably got the ten teams making the list spot on. However, I'd agree with Joe that Chelsea should be higher than Man Utd on that list. Great post though!

Yes Tottenham are a good team and barely missed the list and this season's Champions League is proving that the are just as good as these teams.

The Spurs have depth, but they need one more superstar besides Van der Vaart. I don't believe that Gareth Bale is a superstar yet. He is a star, but you really have to develop a consistency in soccer. It really should be until this time next year when we can evaluate as to whether or not he is a superstar. He could just be the next coming of Ameobi. I don't think so, but only time will tell.

Spurs have been linked to the likes of Benzema and Luis Fabiano recently, could really improve them so much! And if Bale is half the player of Ameobi, look out world haha!
