Spanish teams look good in UEFA Championship

Spanish teams Barcelona and Valencia had comfortable wins while German and England teams struggled. Manchester United and Tottenham from the EPL both left match one with draws while Schalke lost 1-0 and Bremen got a draw for the German sides.
Defending Champ Internazionale recieved one point after upstart Twente tied them 2-2.

The star of Day one was Lionel Messi who scored two goals and had one assist in his teams win.
Eight more games will be played today to complete the first match fixtures in the group stage.
Matchday 2 will be held Sep 28-29.
