Spain, USA win to Reach Finals of Tourneys

The UEFA Under 21 Championship and the CONCACAF Gold Cup both had their semi-finals matches yesterday. Spain and Switzerland advanced to the Championship of the U21 Championship. Spain scored late in second half to force game to extra time and then took over. Switzerland scored in extra time to break the stale mate and advance.
USA got revenge on Panama for an earlier defeat beating them 1-0 to advance to the final of the Gold Cup and a match up with Mexico. Mexico easily got past Honduras 2-0.
In the U-17 World Cup Uruguay, Republica Checa and Uzbekistan all won their matches while England and Canada tied at 2 apiece. With The USA losing to Uzbekistan their group is all tied up with all four teams having three points apiece.
In MLS action we saw two draws as Philadelphia, Kansas City, Chicago and Real Salt Lake could not put the ball in the net.
In Today's action two more groups will play in the U-17 World Cup while Seattle and New York will do battle in the MLS
