Real Madrid advances in wild Group G at Champions League

Real Madrid used a extra time goal by Pedro Leon to get a draw with AC Milan and advance to the knockout stage of the Champions League. Madrid 3-1-0 has 10 points to give themselves a cushion over AC Milan 1-2-1 5 pts and AFC Ajax 1-1-2 4 pts even AJ Auxerre 1-0-3 3 pts still has a shot to advance to the next round.
Auxerre used a 2-1 victor over Ajax to get back in the race for the second spot.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic of AC Milan scored two goals on Wed. to raise his total to three to lead the group in scoring.
Ajax will host Real Madrid while Auxerre host AC Milan on November 23. the match on Dec 8 between Milan and Ajax could very easily decides who advances and who doesn't.
