NFL Wildcard Weekend
January 3rd 2011 17:44
Well the NFL Playoffs are here and here are my predictions for the wildcard weekend.
New Orleans vs Seattle
This game will be the one blowout with the 7-9 Seahawks trying to stay with the Saints. Look for Brees and Bush to have big days. Saints should dominate this game on every front. Coach Pete Carroll will wish he was back in college when this game gets over.
New Orleans 34 Seattle 6
New York Jets vs Indianapolis
My pick for the best game of the weekend. The Colts have battle injuries all season long but still go 10-6 to win the AFC South. While, the Jets have fought the public eye and are coming in at 11-5 just hoping for another long road playoff season like last year. This game will come down to the Indy Offense vs the Jets Defense. Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game and will do what ever he needs to do guide his team to a victory. This will not be Peyton's year as the Jets are just to good on defence for the Colts this year and with any type of quality performance from Sanchez should win this game.
Jets 17 Colts 14
Baltimore vs Kansas City
Matt Cassell and the Kansas City Chiefs have had a fell good year. The Chiefs won their division and are back in the playoffs but that good times will end on Sunday. The Ravens defense will chew up and spit out Cassell and the Chiefs. Flacco and Rice will have descent games in leading the Ravens into the second round and a match up with Pittsburgh.
Baltimore 24 Kansas City 14
Green Bay vs Philadelphia
This game could either be very good or very bad depending on the play of both Rogers and Vick. The home field will help Philadelphia prevail in this game but both teams have looked better and are not entering the playoffs on the right foot. Look for a boring low scoring game with Vick scoring on his feet more than in the air.
