Goals abound as Premier League Race tightens up

Manchester United finally tasted defeat losing 2-1 Wolverhampton. Arsenal and NewCastle United played to a 4-4 draw. Liverpool surprises Chelsea 1-0. This are just some of the headlines after a great week of action in the EPL.
Over forty goals were scored on Saturday in the eight matches compared to only two being scored on Sunday. United is still in control of the table with 54 points. Arsenal is second with 50 while Manchester City holds down the the third spot with 49.
The real battle looks to be for the last Champions League spot between Chelsea and Tottenham. Both teams are sitting at 44 points. Neither team can take a break has Liverpool and Sunderland are not far behind.
The regulation battle is getting very good as six points separates 12th place and last place. West Brom and Blackpool are currently safe but both teams have struggled lately and are on the verge of being in the bottom three.
