F91 Dudelange advances over FC Santa Coloma to second round of Champions League

F91 Dudelange advanced to the second round of the 2011/2012 Champions League after dispatching of FC Santa Coloma. Dudelange won both matches by a score of 2-0 to win the aggregate 4-0. With brand new coach Daniel Theis leading them Dudelange was unstoppable. After goals by Jean-Sebastien Legros and Jean-Philippe Caillet at Santa Coloma Dudelange received two goals from Amodou Abdullei at home to win the series.
Dudelange will battle Slovenia Champion NK Maribor in the next round.
Captain and Goalie Jonathan Joubert had an easy ride thru these two matches facing only six total shots on goal.
Dudelange had not won a Champions League match since 05/06 when the also advanced to the second round. Now in 20 matches of Champions League play the have won four times. They drew twice and lost 14 other times.
