Everton embarssing Manchester City is 1st half
December 20th 2010 20:51
Enjoying my day off from work i was glad to see that the Everton vs Manchester City game was going to be on ESPN2 in the US.
Well being a fan of neither team i just wanted to see some good soccer. I did fell that City would walk away with this game.
Everton was out to prove me wrong. Not even four minutes in Tim Cahill put in a header and about 15 mins later Leighton Baines put in a beautiful shot to give Everton a 2-0 lead.
City has look terrible. I don't think i have seen a worse performance this year in the Premier League. This team looks like it has never played with each other.
City would get it together a little bit and have some decent strikes at it for about a three minute span but Evertons defence was stellar. I do think i saw some hand balls in there but i am no expert.
Marouane Fellaini of Everton received a terrible yellow card. Up to that point thought the match was called pretty good.
So the Half ended with Everton up 2-0 over City.
MVP of Match so far: Phil Jagielka
Worst player of match : Manchester City's Defense in the first 20 mins.
I don't see City fighting back to win this match. If Everton's defence stays this strong look for a shutout for Everton.
