Dutch Eredivisie Title will be decided on Sunday between Ajax and FC Twente

The Dutch Eredivisie is coming down to the last day. FC Twente holds a one point lead on Ajax. Both teams meet on May 15,2011 at Ajax. Besides the Dutch Title the teams are playing for a spot in the Champions League group stage while the second place finisher makes the Champions League but will have to go thru the qualifying process.
Neither team is assured of the top two slots as PSV Eindhoven is only two behind Ajax and three behind FC Twente. PSV Eindoven would win the goal differential against both teams.
The Dutch league sends two teams to the Champions League and three to Europa. One team already knows their fate. Willem II Tilburg knows the have been relegated. In 33 matches Tilburg won only three matches all season long.
Bjorn Vleminckx of NEC Nijmegen leads the league with 23 goals. Dmitry Bulykin of ADO Den Haag has scored 21 goals while Mads Junker of Roda JC Kerkrade has scored 20 goals.
May 15 will be the final matchday of the season. Besides the Ajax vs Twente matchup their are three other big matchups this weekend. FC Groningen(56) will host PSV Eindoven(68), SC Heracles Almelo(46) will host ADO Den Haag and Vitesse Arnhem(35) will try to avoid regulation by hosting Excelsior(32).
FC Twente is looking for their second consecutive title while Ajax is looking to get back on top. Ajax is the most successful club in Dutch history.
