Barcelona holds slight lead in Group D of Champions League

FC Barcelona is coming off a draw with FC Kobenhaven. Barcelona 2-2-0 8 points and Kobenhaven 2-1-1 7 points look like the are in good position to advance to the knock out stage. FC Rubin Kazan 0-3-1 is in third place while Panathinaikos FC 0-2-2 is in last. Rubin with three points and Panathinaikos with two points have an outside shot at advancing.
Rubin will be home for the next match against Koberhaven while Panathinaikos will host Barcelona on November 24.
Lionel Messi of Barcelona leads the group with five goals. David Villa also of Barcelona has two goals.
Group D along with Group C is the lowest goal scoring group with only 15 goals being scored in four matchdays.
