All three newcomers win on Matchday One of English Championship League

England's second tier of football kicked off this weekend. All three new members of the league won in their first match. Brighton&Hove, Peterborough United and Southhampton all won at home to start their quest for Premier League glory.

Hull City 0-1 Blackpool
Coventry City 0-1 Leicester City
Brighton&Hove 2-1 Doncaster Rovers
Bristol City 0-3 Ipswich Town
Burnley 2-2 Watford
Derby County 2-1 Birmingham City
Middlesbrough 2-2 Portsmouth
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Barnsley
Peterborough United 2-1 Crystal Palace
Reading 2-2 Millwall
Southhampton 3-1 Leeds United
West Ham United 0-1 Cardiff City
Ispwich Town leads the table with three points and a plus three goal differential while Southhampton is second with a plus two differential. Six clubs have a plus one differential.
Michael Chopra of Ispwich Town, William Buckley of Brighton and Mathieu Manset of Reading lead the league wit two goals apiece.
