On August 10 The Conference National kicked off their 2012/13 season. Hereford United earned a 2-1 win over Macclesfield Town. Sean Canham scored the first goal for this season in the 15th minute. Matthew Barnes-Homer scored in the 59th minute from the penalty spot to level score. Marlon Jackson scored in the 66th minute to give the home crowd something to cheer for. The match was played at Edgar Street Athletic Ground (Hereford, Hererfordshire) in front of 2,139 fans

Well Match-day four had a few surprises. Rapid Wien went into Salzburg an upset the home club 2-0. With that win Rapid Wien jumps into the top spot for the Austrian Bundesliga Title. Salzburg falls into fourth place. Both clubs have nine points thru four matches. Rapid was a better goal differential than Salzburg

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored two more goals for Shakhtar Donetsk to raise his total to five for the year. He leads all goal scorers in the league. Shakhtar defeated Volyn 4-0 on the road to move to 12 points on the year with a 13 goal differential. Volyn is in six place with seven points

Spartak Moskva had a dominating performance against Dinamo Moskva on the road. With their 4-0 win they have taken over the top spot of the table. With nine points and a plus six goal differential Spartak is your top club. Goals from D. Bilyaletdinov, Nico Pareja, J. Ananidze and Rafael Carioca gave them a comfortable win. Dinamo Moskva is dead last in the table with zero points thru three matches

On Aug 17th the 2012/13 Championship league kicks off. Regelated clubs from the Premier league should be at the top of the table. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers will be looking for a quick return to the big time. Newly promoted clubs Charlton Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town will just be hoping not to return to League One

England's League One 2012/13 Preview

Last year in League One we saw Charlton Athletic win the championship. Sheffield Wednesday finished second promoting both clubs to the championship league for this season. Huddersfield Town won the playoff tourney with Sheffield United, Milton Keynes Dons and Stevenage to advance to the Championship league. We also saw four clubs gets relegated to League two. Wycombe Wanderers, Chesterfield, Rochdale and Exeter City will look to earn their way back to League one this year from League Two

England's League Two 2012/13 Preview

Newly promoted Fleetwood Town and York City will look to have a good year in League Two this year. Fleetwood Town were the champions of Conference National while York City won the four club playoff for their spot. Joining them in League Two this year are relegated clubs Wycombe Wanderers, Chesterfield, Exeter City and Rochdale. All four clubs played in League One last year

Conference National 2012/13 Preview

The 2012/13 Conference National season starts tommorow Aug 10th with a match-up of two clubs regelated after last season. Macclesfield Town and Hereford United will do battle. Both clubs were regelated last year from League Two. Both clubs should be players in getting promoted to league two this year.

New to the league is Hyde and Nuneaton Town from conference North and Woking and Dartford from Conference South. All four clubs will just try and survive this year in Conference National and not be sent back down

Andreas Cornelius scored his third goal of the season as Kobenhavn defeated Esbjeg 2-1 on the road. They also got a goal from M. Vingaard. Kobenhavn sits alone at top of table with 10 pts. Esbjerg is at the other end of the table. They have only one point so far this year. Jakob Ankersen did score his second goal of season for them

Franck Berrier scored two goals in Zulte-Waregem's 3-1 win against Gent. Those goals gave Berrier three on the young season. A. Trajkovski also scored for Zulte. They move to 2-0 on the year and sit atop the table with Club Brugge at six points. J. Remacle scored a penalty goal for Gent. Gent has three points thru two matches
